Oct 2003	A dholki is celebrated at Ezra's house. A very joyous occassion. Lots of good friends and family. Those not in attendance are missed. Salma looks positively radiant.
Oct 2003	Babur scores a perfect 1600 on his SAT tests. Let the bidding commence!
Sep 2003	On September 6th, Sohail asked Salma to marry him. Lucky for him she said yes! Sohail is a very happy man. They will be married on the first day of 2004, starting a new year and a new life together.
Jul 2003	Sohail is formally certified as an Audi Brand Specialist by Audi of America. Okay so maybe he knows what he's talking about? Call him.
Jun 2003	Rahila's cousin NAZ introduces Sohail to this "wonderful" woman who lives in Manhattan. Yes, THAT Manhattan. Sohail thinks, oh great, a New Yorker. <<See September post for update>>.
April 2002	Sohail starts a new career as a car salesman, working for a dual Audi/Volkswagen dealership in Monroeville. Free cars for the whole family!!! umm r-i-g-h-t!
Aug 01-Apr 02	The webmaster (okay so its me, Sohail) takes a hiaitus from updating the website.
Aug 2001	Maira started playing soccer and scored 3 goals in her first ever game. Can World Cup Soccer be far?
Aug 20 01	Adnan has been nominated for the National Scholarship. Selection to take place at a later date. Cool.
Aug 2001	Saba and family have moved into their new home in the woods. Daniel Boone was asking for her address.
Jul 2001	On July 18th, after a brief but severe bout with an as-yet-unidentified hepatitis virus, Safdar Senior (dad) left his earthly life to return from whence he came. He was laid to rest in a Muslim cemetery near his home in Murrysville, Pennsylvania. Our loss cannot be quantified.
Jun 2001	Upon request from an ailing Safdar Senior (among other considerations) Sohail has decided to relocate to be with his parents. He will be staying at his parents' home in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.
Apr 2001	Sohail has started a new job with a company in the aviation after-market industry. He has taken on the role of IT Projects Director.
Feb 2001	Ezra and Safdar have safely returned from their journey to the homeland. Both weddings were great according to reports, although details are sketchy. More at 11.
Jan 2001	Ezra and Safdar (mom and dad) are going to Pakistan to attend Tamania's wedding. Tamania is Athar and Kaukab Khwaja's daughter. We are so proud! Another matrimonial ceremony attended will be that of Tariq, son of Malik and Shahnaz Hassan. What a great day!
Dec 2001	Everyone (except Sohail) got together in Pittsburgh for Eid-ul-Fitr and New Year's Eve. A contingency went skiing to Seven Springs. Safdar (the younger), Salman, Adnan, Farah (see I mentioned you), Babur and Osman were among the daring who ventured out there. Cowabunga Dudes!
Nov 2000	A great Thanksgiving dinner was held at Saba and Salman's house. The whole family was in attendance. Also in attendance was Azhar and Shahnaz's son, Ali, who is currently living in New York City. Lucky stiff. Besides the great hospitality and food, a troupe went to visit the house under construction. The roof is finally on and the insulation is in place. Looks promising!
Oct 2000	Adnan got his first car. A Honda Civic. We are going to face a gasoline shortage pretty soon!
Mar-Sep 2000	Big gap in news here as no news was submitted to the webmaster for inclusion, although he is sure lots of activities took place. It's tough being a mushroom!
Mar 2000	One year Anniversary of Saba's private practice. Going strong and doing proud!
Jan 2000	Sohail moved to sunny South Florida. Seeing the country one job at a time. Whatalife!
Nov 1999	*Adnan just got his driver learners' permit. Now he is all ready to tear up (I mean learn on) his dad's car. and someone* better keep his Audi locked up!!! hehe**
Nov 1999	Safdar (the younger) bought a Y2K V8 Audi A6. Zooming by a road near you soon!
Aug 1999	Babur and Osman got selected in the Gifted Students' Program. This is Osman's first time (Starts Grade 2) and Babur's fourth. How'd they do it? They scored in the high 90th percentile in the California Achievement Tests and demonstrated exceptional abilities. Congratulations boys!
Aug 1999	Babur, Osman and Maira spent a week at Lake Tahoe. They also hiked up to the snow line at 9500ft. Brrrrr!
Aug 1999	Babur spent a week in the Silicon Valley learning about PC Networking and programming. Bill Gates is worried!
Aug 1999	Adnan and Farah took a whirlwind tour of the Southwest, visiting New Orleans and Dallas in 12 days. Jet set crowd watch out!
June 1999	Sohail leased a 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX. Woohoo!
May 1999	Adnan Sheikh won a sportmanship award from his tennis team. Good Show!
